Avril Lavigne had fun

July 27th 2009 by Brandy in Avril Lavigne, Celebrities Comments Off
avril-lavigne-vip-04 Avril Lavigne was at the VIP Room in St. Tropez last week while her monkey friend sat alone in his cage and did whatever it is monkeys do. Fling poo? I don’t know. Anyway, she had fun. Avril obliged as a bunch of strange men poured alcohol down her throat. At one point she looked like she was dead and they still kept pouring alcohol down her throat. I think that’s called foreplay. It worked too because at another point, she was so drunk she gave a dude a handjob. At least that’s my interpretation of these pictures. Feel free to draw your own conclusions.

May 26th 2009 by Brandy in Avril Lavigne, Celebrities Comments Off
avril lavigne bikini 01 Avril Lavigne hit up Malibu beach yesterday. She celebrated the men and women who died in service by clutching her breasts and cartwheeling on the beach. Her cromagnun husband celebrated by being let out of his cage for an hour. Everyone had a good time it seems.

Avril Lavigne banned from Malaysia

August 19th 2008 by Brandy in Avril Lavigne, Celebrities Comments Off
Avril Lavigne Avril Lavigne may be banned from Malaysia for the same reason I was. Being too sexy. Islamic opposition has requested the Malaysian government cancel an Avril Lavigne performance on Aug. 29 on account of it being “too sexy” for locals.
“It is considered too sexy for us…it’s not good for viewers in Malaysia,” party official Kamarulzaman Mohamed was quoted by the Associated Press as saying. “We don’t want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artists, artists that are good role models.”
E! Online says Malaysia often bans obscene behavior on stage. What is obscene? Jumping, shouting, hugging and kissing or displaying any sexual imagery or drug references. On second thought, they should cancel this concert. If this is true, it’ll be pretty boring and maybe a little creepy. Her fans will be standing around glassy-eyed like kids from Children of the Corn. The only way you can tell they’re rocking out is by them swaying side to side. But no more than 1.5 inches to the left or right. Anything past that and they’ll be caned. Here’s Avril being obscene. avril friend 01avril friend 02avril friend 03avril friend 04avril friend 05

Avril Lavigne: I had my dancers dye their hair brown so I’m the only blonde

July 31st 2008 by Holly in Avril Lavigne, Celebrities Comments Off
Avril Lavigne has given plenty of self-important, immature interviews in which she’s told stories about kneeing guys in the balls, said that she’s the best thing that’s every happened to her husband, and said that people who hate her are “losers”. She also used the fact that she sent some used clothing to Hurricane Katrina victims as evidence of her generosity, and said she gives her workers “stuff” because they “don’t make much money.” Considering that Avril’s the one who pays them, you think she would realize that she could raise their salaries and change that. In a new interview with OK! Magazine, the 23 year-old singer doesn’t come across as obnoxious as she has in the past. Avril talks about her new clothing line of barbie-type punk clothing for tweens called Abbey Dawn which is currently available at Kohl’s stores in the US. She also confirms the rumor that she had all her backup dancers dye their hair brown so she would be the only blonde person on stage. As for whether she’s ready to have children with her husband of two years, Deryck Whibley, Avril says she not ready for the responsibility and will wait until she’s in her 30s:
Are you planning on having children someday? Oh God! I don’t want to have kids for like 10 years. I still have a lot to do. I don’t even know if I could handle a dog right now. I’m so not ready. Someday I’ll be a mom but not until I’m in my 30s. It was your second wedding anniversary on July 15. How did you and Deryck celebrate? We went away for the night and went to our favorite restaurant and just had a very romantic day and evening. If I wasn’t on tour right now, I would like to have gone on vacation to Hawaii or something but I’m only home for the week. How are you able to keep the relationship strong when you are touring for so long? We e-mail and talk on the phone. I’m always on my Blackberry. He comes out and visits. I was just in Europe and he came out for two weeks at the beginning of the tour and two weeks at the end of the tour. It’s really great having Deryck around because he’s really talented and he can help out and give me notes on the show. After I took my voice lessons he was like ‘whoa, you’re voice is the best I’ve ever heard it.’ He has a really good ear. So when Deryck isn’t around, do you hang out mostly with your dancers on tour? I’m really close with a few of the band guys and a few of the dancers. We get together and we hang out and we have dance parties. I always end up being friends with random dancers because they’re with you for so long and there’s no one else around. One dancer commented that you made everyone dye their hair brown so you could be the only blonde on stage. Is that true? Everyone was brown except one of my favorite girls was blonde so we were like ‘you have to have brown hair.’ It wouldn’t look right. I wanted my girls to look really punk rock with like black hair and that’s pretty standard for everyone, like Madonna and Mariah Carey. If they’re blonde you’re not going to see another blonde on stage.
[From OK! Magazine] Avril also said that she’s not so concerned about what people say about her because they’re just trying to make her look bad and it’s “all false”
How does it make you feel when you hear rumors about you going around the Internet? You get built up and put on a pedestal and then people want to bring you down. It can be hurtful. Some people try to make me look bad or not a nice person but it’s completely false. Does it really bother you? Yeah of course, as a human it can be hurtful, but at the same time I don’t let it affect me because there are more positives going on than negatives. I’m just some chick from Napanee, Ontario and I can’t believe where I am today. Is the criticism harder to take as a musician, who has to pour her heart into her music? When you’re a rock star or a person who puts your music out there, it’s more personal. But I absolutely have nothing to complain about.
Avril spit on the paparazzi in three separate incidents in 2006 and then blamed them for it. She did it outside of busy Hollywood clubs like Hyde and it’s not like they were stalking her at the time. She’s calmed down a lot since then, but it’s pretty amusing that she’s saying it’s all other people’s fault that she has a bad reputation because we somehow want to bring her down. Avril also defended the stories that she went out partying at a time when she had canceled concerts due to losing her voice. She said “I didn’t go partying the entire time. When I got home, I sat at home.” It sure sounds like she went out some of the time. By her logic, it’s ok though because she did stay at her house at some point. Avril is definitely saying less things that are really rude and I guess that’s an improvement over her past behavior. As for having one her of backup dancers dye their hair brown, that sounds pretty minor and not like a big plot to be the only blonde. Gwen Stefani hired some Japanese American women to follow her around dressed like school girls and they were contractually obligated not to talk. Not that there was anything defensible about that. Avril Lavigne is shown performing in Monaco on 6/14/08. Credit: ANG/Fame Pictures

Avril Lavigne’s new clothing line for Kohl’s, Abbey Dawn

July 17th 2008 by Holly in Avril Lavigne, Celebrities Comments Off
An Access Hollywood segment on Avril’s new clothing line Avril Lavigne has a new line of clothing for juniors in her unique cotton candy ‘tween punk style. Clothing is affordably priced at from $24 to $58 USD and is available at Kohl’s stores in the US. The line includes cap-sleeved t-shirts with skull prints, tight-fit hoodies with purple and pink zebra and leopard prints, and even a hoodie with little ears on it. Avril named the line Abbey Dawn after the childhood nickname given to her by her dad. She explains that “My alias name was always Abbey Dawn in my hotel rooms.” Avril describes the way she designed the clothing as “I can literally come up with anything I want to wear and then it’s made and I get it.” Avril says “the inspiration for Abbey Dawn came out of my closet. It’s who I am and what I think is cool and anything I’d wear.” There are probably plenty of 9-12 year-olds who want to dress like Avril. You can get her clothing at Kohl’s stores and online at Kohls.com. Here’s a promotional video for the line. And here are actual items of Avril’s clothing from Kohls.com. These were all co-designed and approved by the 23 year-old Canadian “rocker,” who says it’s hard to name her favorite piece since she loves them all so much. No one has contacted or encouraged us to promote Avril’s clothing line. But, hey you are welcome to send me some freebies!
