Pete Wentz and
Ashlee Simpson are having a boy! At least they say that they’re 90 percent sure of that.
Pete talked to Playboy magazine recently and said, “We know with 90 percent accuracy that it’s a boy and our due date is around Thanksgiving. We don’t have any names yet. My friend Andrew said, ‘Your kid has to have a name that would fit either a rock star or a senator.’”
Any baby name suggestions for the happy couple?

Ashlee Simpson and
Pete Wentz’s little Emo Baby to be, is going to be a girl, according to a new report.
A source tells gossip rag Star Magazine that Ashlee and Pete also found out the baby’s due date:
“The doctor told them they actually conceived the baby just before Valentine’s Day while they were on vacation and has given them an initial due date of Oct. 31. When Pete heard he might have his baby on Halloween, he went nuts. For an emo-rocker type like Pete, that would be just too perfect! The daddy-to-be is so excited about his daughter’s arrival, he’s even taken up a new hobby — sewing baby clothes!“
Sewing baby clothes? How metrosexual of Pete.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has decided to postpone her summer tour around the United States due to her recent marriage and pregancy.
Ashlee’s spokesperson told
OK magazine, “After careful consideration, Ashlee Simpson has decided to postpone her summer tour.” “She is committed to giving her fans the best show possible, and will be back better than ever and ready to rock in the future.”
Ashlee’s hubby Pete Wentz has recently caught some flack for lying to MTV when asked about Ashlee’s pregnancy last month. Rumors were flying and at first the couple denied the reports, then later just refused to comment.
Pete apologized to MTV for lying but had this to say, “Every woman, no matter who they are or what they do for a living, has the right to wait at least 3 months before sharing this very personal news,” he wrote. “We wanted to wait until after the first trimester and get a clean bill of health from our doctors before confirming anything, just like any other couple.
“Being a boy I have no idea how to respond to such things and my first instinct was to protect her and the baby.
“It’s insane that you can’t let happy news brew in Hollywood. This wasn’t about press or anything. It was about the health of the baby and trying to find a way to be happy with what should be the most happy time of our lives in the middle of a press blitz. I apologize to anyone who felt misinformed but the truth is, the person and growing baby is who I felt most loyal to protect and defend.”
This couple will have an exciting year and it is great Ashlee is postponing her tour while preparing for their new baby.

Remember how annoying it was when we went through the “is she pregnant” or “isn’t she?” stage of the pregnancy-gate with
Ashlee Simpson?
They didn’t answer any questions about it and beat around the bush for a decade about it, until we just didn’t care anymore. Now that she’s in her second trimester, we’ve gotten confirmation and
Pete Wentz tells us what was going on with the secrecy:
He tells MTV.com, “Every woman, no matter who they are or what they do for a living, has the right to wait at least three months before sharing this very personal news. We wanted to wait until after the first trimester before confirming anything, just like any other couple.
“I apologize to anyone who felt misinformed but the truth is, the person and growing baby is who I felt most loyal to protect and defend.”
And I still don’t care. How’s that, Pete?
