Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Are Planning A Summer Wedding?

June 8th 2009 by Alexis in Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Celebrities Comments Off
Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Maybe Brad Pitt is finally wearing partner Angelina Jolie down with thoughts of planning a wedding together? Sources have revealed that Angelina is finally considering sealing the deal with her main squeeze and tying the knot in a private summer ceremony. Even though previous reports have stated that Brangelina wouldn’t get married until everyone in the nation could get married if they wanted to, the source is confirming the news, saying that they’re doing it because of all of the negative press surrounding their relationship. They have vowed to get married this summer, after their current filming commitments are out of the way.

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Consider Adopting 7th Child

September 30th 2008 by Chelsea in Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Celebrities Comments Off
Wow! With six children all under the age of seven and their twins just 2 months-old, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are said to be already considering adopting again soon! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are said to be considering adopting a child from Namibia, where their daughter Shiloh was born just two years ago. Brad Pitt and Angelina are also looking into adopting from other countries in Latin America such as Bolivia or Paraguay. Brad Pitt, 44, and Angelina Jolie, 32, have six children including adopted son, Maddox who is 7 years-old, Pax, who is 4 years old, Zahara is 3 years-old, Shiloh is 2 years-old, and of course the twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, who are now two months-old. “The focus on South America comes from Jolie’s interest in drawing attention to the large number of desperately needy orphaned children in that region,” says columnist Liz Smith. The Jolie-Pitts were living in their leased French chateau, but have now traveled to Germany, while Brad Pitt makes his movie, “Inglorious Bastards”. With rumors of the stress of the newborn twins taking its toll on Angelina, it is rather surprising the couple would be considering adopting this soon! What do you guys think? Maddox Jolie-Pitt is being homeschooled in France

September 23rd 2008 by Holly in Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Celebrities Comments Off
An older pic of the Jolie-Pitts out in New Orleans on 12/26/07. Credit: Fame The world’s most famous parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie try to keep their family of eight together as much as they can, but that often means taking their six kids with them all over the globe. The children — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and newborns Knox and Vivienne — are certainly going to grow with up with real-life global knowledge, but what about a formal education? As Us points out, most seven-year-olds like Maddox are starting second grade now. Maddox has attended schools in New York City, New Orleans, Prague and Los Angeles. Now, the Jolie-Pitts have begun homeschooling their eldest. A tutor is reportedly visiting the house the family is renting in France.
But even if he’s not in a classroom, Maddox — who, like his siblings, is encouraged to speak French as a second language — is growing up fast. These days, he is allowed “to do things without Mom or Dad,” the source continues. “He tags along with an assistant to help with shopping.”
[From Us, print edition, September 29, 2008] Brad is back in France after traveling to Venice and Toronto for film festivals to promote Burn After Reading, and Angelina should be in New York in October for the New York Film Festival, but the two did recently find some romantic time together. Us reports the two dined twice at L’Auberge du Parc in August. A witness said Angie “is happy and smiling. She looks so slim already.” However, National Enquirer says things are less cheery at their French home, nicknamed “Chateau Chaos.” During an angry phone call while Brad was in Toronto, Angie ordered Brad to come home.
During the tense phone call, Brad quipped, “You ready for another baby?” “Angie flipped out,” said the insider. “She accused Brad of trying to run away from her and the kids to have fun with his buddies.”
[From National Enquirer, print edition, September 29, 2008] After the call, Enquirer reports Brad scrapped his plans to attend the Stand Up for a Cure benefit concert on September 10 and returned to France. There’s the possibility that both these stories are completely false, but also the possibility that they’re both true. Relationships are up and down. No one could blame Brad for wanting a break to be with friends, and no one could blame Angie for wanting him to get his ass back home to help her.

Brad and Angelina’s twins have colic; medical team called in

September 5th 2008 by Holly in Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Celebrities Comments Off
File photo of Angelina Jolie in Iraq on 2/7/08. Credit: Fame The National Enquirer’s inset cover story about Brad and Angelina’s twins, which reads “Something is wrong with the twins! Medical team called in,” has to do with a common but often scary medical condition in newborns - colic. Both Knox and Vivienne, who turn two months old next week, are said to suffer from colic, in which babies cry for extended periods of time and appear in distress. Colic is often assumed to be caused by digestive trouble in babies, but medically it’s unknown what causes it exactly. Of course two colic-suffering newborns along with four other children at home is said to be causing Angelina countless stress and worry. She has a doctor staying at the family’s villa in France to ensure that everything is ok, and he has his own medical team. She also has another doctor and nurse on 24 hour call. According to the Enquirer she does have nannies, but she insists on caring for the twins herself.
“Both twins are suffering from colic, and Angelina is an absolute wreck from not getting enough sleep. Even though she’s raised four other children, the twins’ seemingly constant discomfort is stressing her out. “She’s called in a doctor, who’s brought along his own medical team, and she has another doctor and nurse on 24-hour call.” According to sources, the medical problems began shortly after the couple brought the twins home… “Immediately after feedings, both babies start howling in pain, and Angelina has been running ragged trying to get them to sleep… “She’s either trying to lull them to sleep in a rocking chair or pacing the floor with either Knox or Vivienne. “Sometimes she puts the babies in their swings and sits nearby until they fall asleep. But when she gets them into their cribs, they’ll often wake up and start screaming all over again! “Angelina says she can’t remember the last time she slept more than two hours straight. “And even though she has a staff of nannies and assistants to help, the only other people she allows to handle the colicky babies are a doctor or nurse.”
[From The National Enquirer, print edition, September 15, 2008] My son had colic for a few weeks after he was born, and I found that if I cut out all milk and bread/gluten from my diet he was much calmer and the colic went away. I limited my diet to just rice, turkey, chicken and only a few non-citrus fruits and non-gassy vegetables. It was difficult, but the improvement in his well being seemed worth it to me. That is just anecdotal evidence, and most doctors and even La Leche League will tell you that maternal diet has no effect on nursing babies, citing other cultures where mothers eat spicy foods. Some of my friends who nursed also told me that their babies were much calmer once they went on an elimination diet. Nicole Richie has also touted the benefits of limiting her diet when nursing a newborn, saying after Harlow was born that “There’s just so much I can’t eat because she’s sensitive… I eat really bland [food].” Usually a newborn’s sensitivity to foods the mother eats goes away after a few months. If Shiloh was a calm baby and wasn’t affected by Angelina’s diet maybe she’s not aware that the twins may be sensitive to the proteins from food that pass through into her milk. It’s also possible that something else is causing the twin’s colic and that it has nothing to do with what Angelina is eating. The babies are supposedly fussing right after they feed, though, which suggests that it has something to do with it. The article also says that Angelina is upset that Brad had to go to the Venice and later the Toronto Film Festivals. It is said that she “resents that Brad pretty much comes and goes as he pleases,” but that she understands that he has work obligations and has to make appearances. They end with a funny story about how Brad called Angelina to tell her he loved her and she had to go because the babies were crying.
“On the festival’s final night [Brad] called in late just to tell Angie how much he missed her and to say, ‘You are the love of my life.’ “Angie was deeply touched and said she felt the same way. But a second later, she whimpered, ‘I’ve got to go - the babies are crying!’”

Angelina Jolie isn’t doing well

August 28th 2008 by Brandy in Angelina Jolie, Celebrities Comments Off
Angelina Jolie Sources tell Now that Angelina Jolie is having a hard time taking care of six children, two of which are newborn twins, and is currently undergoing treatment for stress.
“She’s in tears up to three times a day and so tired that Brad’s found her collapsed asleep in the bath twice. “She’s been working around the clock, breast-feeding the babies and trying to get them to sleep. But as soon as one of them drops off, the other wakes up for another feed. “She’s also not eating very much right now and blames that on being busy. The doctor says that she needs more calories to gain strength and ensure that her breast milk is healthy.” Awwwwww...Poor Angelina...Life is just so hard.  Hey Angie, if you ever want to trade lives give me a call.

Brad and Angelina have a messy house with little help & are moving back to LA

August 26th 2008 by Holly in Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Celebrities Comments Off
Brad, Angelina, Maddox, Zahara and Pax out in New Orleans on 12/26/07 to see a movie. Credit: Fame In Angelina’s Vanity Fair interview ahead of the birth of her twins, she said she had help with the kids but it was during the day and no one stayed overnight. She called the helpers “ladies who work with us,” and said there was a Vietnamese teacher, a woman from Belgium “of Congolese descent,” and an art teacher from America. The article came out in late May, and the news had just been released that Brad and Angelina were moving to that huge estate in France. They were staying at Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s French villa around that time. It seemed logistically impossible to me that they would have three women available to them everywhere they moved who did not stay overnight. German celebrity magazine Gala printed an article after the birth of the twins that they were looking for a nanny. Some of the tabloids have made references to Brad and Angelina’s “nannies,” but if they do have anyone they keep them virtually hidden. Brad’s family visited after the birth of Knox and Vivienne and his mother was probably a big help. In her May interview, Angelina made it seem as if she and Brad had a very laid back parenting style, and said that their focus was art and communication: “Artists raise their kids differently… We have art around the house, we have books, we go to plays, we talk. Our focus is art and painting and dress-up and singing. It’s what we love. So I think you can see how artists in some way raise other artists.” Artists aren’t known for being particularly orderly. TMZ reports that Brad and Angelina’s house is a wreck and that the only help they have on the weekends is a chef and security staff, who often end up on babysitter duty. They also say that the famous family is planning on moving back to Brad’s home in Hollywood. I wonder if the mess they’re said to be leaving at the chateau has anything to do with that:
We started getting tips about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie — that they never let the kids go out in public with nannies because they want the public to see them as hands-on parents, which means the kids would basically be held hostage in the house unless their parents take them out. Absolutely not true. We have really good spies in this department and here’s what we know. As it was put to us, “Brad and Angelina don’t give a f**k what the world thinks of how they’re raising their kids.” We’re told their entire life revolves around the kids, and the houses they stay in are “dirty from the kids” — with toys everywhere, food on the floor and fingerprints on the walls. We’re told during weekends, there is a “minimal staff” at home — a cook and security, and that’s it. The homes they stay at are often in the hills or at the beach, and security’s top job is making sure the kids don’t hurt themselves. The Hollywood Hills home Brad has owned for years will soon become home base. We’re told the main advantage is it’s completely enclosed and the kids can roam on the property. The best line — “They live like people in Simi Valley, only with more zeros on the price of the home.”
[From TMZ] It seems like with a lot of kids you have to be really regimented if your goal is to keep the house clean. Some people prefer to focus on the kids and go with the flow, though, and the house reflects that. You have to wonder if the supposed damage to the estate is a motivation for Brad and Angelina to move back and if they’re having any issues with their landlord. If they do move back to Hollywood it should be a lot easier for them to find help. In other Jolie-Pitt news, one of dad Brad’s photos of his family will be featured on the cover of the November issue of W Magazine. W is the Magazine that scored that somewhat controversial 50s-style shoot with Brad and Angelina in July, 2005 called “Domestic Bliss.” Do you think that Brad and Angelina are just responding to all the requests for publicity or are they actively seeking it? Pitt has Burn After Reading by the Cown brothers coming out in the US on September 12. It looks wickedly funny and also features George Clooney, Frances McDormand, and John Malkovich. Brad, Angelina, Maddox, Zahara and Pax are shown out in New Orleans on 12/26/07. They went to see the movie “The Waterhouse” and also picked up KFC. Credit: Fame

First photos of Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt are here

August 3rd 2008 by Holly in Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Celebrities, New Babies Comments Off
Update 2: It’s not a big conspiracy and just looks like some mismanagement on People’s part. The story is now up on People’s homepage nearly a half an hour after their announced release time, after it was posted then removed. The babies are so little and fragile-looking, although you can see one of them smile sleepily as Brad and Angelina look on adoringly. An inset photo features little two year old Shiloh holding one of them. Update: Apparently People.com posted the cover of the magazine in their “News” section briefly, but never added the story to the front page. Within five minutes, it was removed. Thanks to Lena for the link to ONTD’s mirror of the cover and article. Angelina calls their house “chaos,” and Brad says it’s a “a cuckoo’s nest,” but it also sounds like they’re having a lot fun. Angelina talks about how her two older daughters help out and calls them “little mommies.” And apparently there are just 19 pages of photos, not 30 as previously reported:
They are just 3 weeks old, but twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline are about to take the world by storm. In an exclusive interview and photos, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie offer PEOPLE an intimate look at their growing family. “It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time,” Jolie tells PEOPLE of daily life at the Château Miraval in Provence, France, where the couple’s four older children – Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2 – have been enjoying a summer of outdoor play (hide-and-seek is a favorite) on the château’s sprawling grounds. Adds Pitt: “[It’s] still a cuckoo’s nest.” Fortunately, they already have some household helpers. “[Shiloh] and Z pick out [the twins’] clothes and help change and hold them,” says Jolie. “It’s sweet – they are little mommies.” For the complete story, including 19 pages of intimate family photos and the full interview with Brad and Angelina, pick up this week’s issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Monday
[From People.com and removed, via ONTD]
The first photos of three week old fraternal boy and girl twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt were supposed to premiere on People.com tonight at 7pm EDT. The magazine’s website has had red banner at the top of their homepage since Friday announcing the much-anticipated debut of the twins. At about 7:05 they removed the banner, though, with no explanation of when we could expect to see the first photo online. They have a reported 30 freaking page spread coming out in People tomorrow that cost the magazine $14 million, which was split with UK publication Hello. It’s possible someone at People made the stupid executive decision at the last minute not to put the photos online or to wait until tomorrow. They won’t lose much in advance publicity considering how well the issue will sell. It still seems like a very short-sighted decision that may cost them repeat traffic to their website. I know it’s going to disappoint a lot of their Internet readers. We’ll have to see how they handle this tomorrow, and I’ll ask JayBird to see if anything goes up tonight before she goes to bed. I’m in Europe where it’s past 1:00 am now and this ten minute delay with no apology on their site has pissed me off royally.

Rights to first photos of Brangelina twins reportedly went to People for 10-15 million

July 30th 2008 by Holly in Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Celebrities Comments Off
Angelina and Shiloh on 5/19/08. Credit: WENN Many of you commented on some of the (very heated and amusing) Brangelina threads that we have no way of verifying reports that there’s a bidding war for the first photos of the twins and it’s possible that those stories are false. Some of you thought that Brad and Angelina might be trying to preserve their privacy by refusing to sell the photos. Brad recently issued a cease and desist demanding the removal of photos taken with a telephoto lens of his family playing in their backyard, and that could be a sign that they’re working to keep their children out of the public eye. The first photos of Pax and Shiloh were published in Hello! and People, but that doesn’t mean that they’re necessarily going to sell the photos of Knox and Vivienne, even though the money will go to charity. A report has come out exclusively in Just Jared that the twin photos have been brokered to People Magazine for a staggering figure that’s somewhere between $10 to $15 million. This story isn’t sourced or even credited to an insider so it’s hard to tell where they’re getting their information. JustJared is a member of the Buzznet network and they were possibly given a tip by someone there or another insider source. It’s also of course possible that this is another bs story:
JustJared.com has just learned that People magazine has drummed up the winning bid for the first pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins - Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. It is rumored that the winning bid is between $10 million and $15 million. The pictures will come up in a future People magazine issue (but not this week!). The money paid to Brad and Angelina has already been earmarked for charity.
[From Just Jared via We Smirch] Babies are cute and I enjoy seeing the glamorous posed photos of the newborns at home with their parents, but that’s a hell of a lot of money. At least we know that a worthy charity will benefit from it, which cannot be said of the baby photo money given to celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie, and Christina Aguilera. (Our new writer Sammie is working on a story about OK! Magazine’s full coverage of Matthew McConaughey’s new baby, Levi, and she mentioned that OK! gave a donation to his jk livin foundation. From the way she worded it, I got the impression that McConaughey got the full $3 million and an additional donation was given to his charity. I’ve asked her for clarification and we’ll be reporting on that later in the day. At this point I’m not sure whether McConaughey and Alves pocketed the baby money.) Celebrities that have chosen not to sell photos of their newborns include Salma Hayek, Halle Berry, Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman. Berry brought criminal charges earlier this week against a photographer that captured a faraway picture of her in her backyard with four month old Nahla. She issued a statement that said “I will do everything I can for the sake of her safety and well-being to keep her out of the public eye.” As commenter Anastasia pointed out, maybe Brad and Angelina are trying to keep the paparazzi away by releasing photos of their twins. That way, they won’t get photographers hanging out in the surrounding woods in camouflage and attacking their security guys. For the type of money those pictures are worth, photographers are willing to go to extraordinary measures to capture the twins on film.

Julie Newmar wants Angelina Jolie to play Catwoman in next Batman movie

July 28th 2008 by Holly in Angelina Jolie, Celebrities, Julie Newmar Comments Off
The Dark Knight has only been out for a couple of weeks and already buzz is starting on the sequel. It’s sad that Heath Ledger won’t be able to reprise his brilliantly creepy Joker, it looks like director Christopher Nolan is looking to tap another big Hollywood name to play the villain. 60s TV catwoman, Julie Newmar, says that Angelina Jolie would “own the part” and claims that she’s asked about it:
Hollywood beauty ANGELINA JOLIE has been tipped to play CATWOMAN in a future BATMAN movie - by the actress who made the role famous, JULIE NEWMAR. Newmar, 74, prowled across the small screen, playing the feline villain in the 1960s Batman television series. And she would love Jolie to take on the role - if The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan decides to resurrect the character in a future sequel. Newmar tells the New York Daily News, “Angelina would own the part. My industry friends tell me (she) has made inquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman’s one true love. She’s tremendously popular with women because she’s both a heroine and a villainess.” Since Newmar, the Catwoman role has been played by Eartha Kitt, Lee Meriwether, Halle Berry and Michelle Pfeiffer.
[From Contact Music] It would take a brave, fearless actress to pick up Catwoman’s whip after the stinker of a film starring Halle Berry that came out a few years ago. Jolie is the kind of woman who could pull it off, provided the script is good enough and she’s not pregnant again. Personally, I think Catwoman should have been retired after the fabulous Michelle Pfeiffer played the role in “Batman Returns.” I would like to see some new villains on the big screen.

Did Brad and Angelina want Bono to be their twins’ godfather?

July 28th 2008 by Holly in Angelina Jolie, Bono, Brad Pitt Comments Off
In highly unlikely news out yesterday, The Mirror claims that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie plan on naming U2’s Bono as their new twins’ godfather. In April the rumor was that it was going to be George Clooney – and the couple certainly have a wide array of celebrity friends to choose from.
It’s the Sweetest Thing for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s newborn twins. Little Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline are only a few weeks old, but they’ve already shot straight to the top of the showbiz A-list by bagging a superstar godfather - U2’s Bono. After giving birth two weeks ago, Angelina, 33, and Brad, 44, spent a week bonding with their new bundles of joy at Bono’s bolthole in a leafy village in the South of France. And in return for the kind gesture, the Hollywood couple have asked him to be a permanent fixture in the lives of their tots. Sources tell me thrilled Bono, 48, accepted the offer immediately. A pal of the A-list parents revealed: “Brad and Angie think the world of Bono. They have been friends for years. Brad is a massive U2 fan and told Bono how much he admired him when they were introduced at a party a few years back. “Since then, they’ve become very close, which Brad is thrilled about. Angelina is inspired by Bono’s humanitarian work and gets on with his wife Ali Hewson. Ali’s given Angelina some clothes from her ethical clothing range Edun.” I’m told the couple are planning a christening ceremony to welcome Bono into the extended family. But they have not yet decided if he will be sharing his duties with a godmother. Angelina has spoken about asking her ex-lesbian lover Jenny Shimzu [sic], but that has yet to be given the nod by Brad.
[From The Mirror] I could maybe have accepted the POSSIBILITY that Brad and Angelina were considering Bono as a godfather until that last part about Jenny Shimzu. We’re really supposed to believe that the woman who Angelina used to sleep with – who talks about Angelina every chance she gets and is always telling the press that Brad is just a temporary distraction– would be considered by Brad Pitt as the godfather to his children? I call bullshit on that. It makes for good press and I’m sure a ton of sites will pick it up by the end of the day tomorrow, but I can’t imagine that it’s possibly true.
