Jennifer Lopez gave a surprise 40th birthday party for her husband, Marc Anthony on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Paparazzi were confused as Lopez arrived in a different dress but by the time she left the party, she was decked out in a different gown and hairstyle. Evidently, she met her stylists at the party and did a quick wardrobe revamp at the restaurant’s changing room.

The following day, on Sunday, Lopez participated in and completed successfully in the Triathlon. She raised $127,000 for the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. Lopez crossed the finishing line after 2 hours, 23 minutes and 28 seconds. It was a good record for the swimming, biking and running event.

Guy Ritchie had a big 40th birthday celebration at a pub. His wife, Madonna, turned up and stayed for about 1 hour. She left at 10 pm and Guy escorted her out. Guy then returned inside and partied alone with his pals until 4 am.

According to a report, Guy was seen through a window of Punchbowl, Mayfair, in UK. He was making faces. Inside the party, there was a sing along session, like a karaoke.

Madonna is in the midst of her Sticky & Sweet Tour. While she and the children showed up at Guy’s party, they left at 10 pm. The star studded function carried on merrily.

Michael Jackson will spend his 50th birthday today celebrating with his  three kids, Prince Michael, Prince Michael II and Paris. The King of Pop spoke with Good Morning America, and brags he still can do all his famous dance moves and more. “I feel very young,” he said. Speaking in almost a whisper at times, he adds of his landmark birthday, “I feel very wise and sage, but at the same time very young.” He said he plans to spend the day at home and will “just have a little cake with my children and we’ll probably watch some cartoons”. Of course! The reclusive star is in the process of recording his new album in Las Vegas at the moment. Michael is reportedly in talks to present an award with his sister Janet at the MTV Video Music Awards, which is taking place on September 7 in Los Angeles.

Hayden Panettiere could have spent her 19th birthday doing whatever she wanted, but instead of traveling to Egypt or spending the entire day half naked in Milo Ventimiglia’s arms, she decided to celebrate it by torturing her dog and making him get in the pool. But don’t you go dialing PETA just yet.  Karma got back at her with a nice little treat for all us perverts: a candid nipple slip shot. Happy nipple day to us.

Despite rumors of marriage troubles between Madonna and Guy Ritchie, the movie director spared no expense on his wife’s birthday celebrations. The Material Girl, who turned 50 on Saturday, celebrated her big day at the swanky Volstead nightclub in London’s Mayfair — but noticeably absent at the lavish $200,000 party were friends Gwyneth Paltrow and Stella McCartney. Madonna, dressed in black and draped in a tangle of gold necklaces, spent hours on the dancefloor with performers from her upcoming tour. In a 40-minute speech to her 90 guests, Madonna thanked Guy, her children and her Kabbalah religion, before admitting: “I’m really disappointed. “There are a lot of people who are not here tonight, but thanks to everyone who did make it. (which included around 50 of her dancers and some work colleagues to toast her half century.) “I can’t believe I have reached half a century. It only happens once and this is an event I’m glad to be sharing with you.” After the guests sang a round of Happy Birthday, Lourdes left her mom teary-eyed by playing a song from Fame on the grand piano as a surprise. Madonna and 90 of her closest friends celebrated her 50th birthday over the weekend. Much to her disappointment, 40 of those friends were her backup dancers and the rest were no one of note. Guy got up and, most likely as a result of a lot of alcohol, said, “She looks better now than she ever has done. I’m so proud. I love her so much.” Madonna’s unfortunately unibrowed daughter sang Never Alone from Fame after which Madonna gave a 30 minute speech.

Of the guests at the £100,000 party, 40 were Madonna’s dancers. A friend said: “She loved it when her songs came on. Her dancers were pulling out all the moves, breakdancing around her. It was like a final rehearsal for the tour.”

I have no idea how she’s done it, but Lindsay Lohan has somehow defied the odds and is now aged a fine 22 years. She’s also managed to go an entire year without any new arrests, car crashes, or rehabs. Though to be fair she was in rehab on her 21st birthday last year, and for a couple months afterwards as well. But she hasn’t been admitted into rehab again in a whole year. This is big. Huge. She’s been working on her next film, Labor Pains, and has actually been complimented for her good work ethic. Supposedly she shows up on time, knows her lines, and generally gets along with everyone. It’s not like she’s made as dramatic a change as Britney Spears – though you could argue that’s because her life didn’t fall apart to quite the same extent. But either way, she seems to have spent the last couple months getting her act together a bit more – and many attribute that to the positive influence of her never-officially-acknowledged girlfriend Samantha Ronson. LiLo definitely has reason to celebrate this year – and apparently plans on doing it right.

Lindsay Lohan’s 22nd birthday throw down is toned down from what it was supposed to be — ‘memba this? — but that doesn’t mean it won’t be a wild affair. We’re told her full sister Ali and loony mom Dina are flying in for the private party. It’s being held tonight at Teddy’s inside the Roosevelt Hotel — where LiLo has several suites lined up. There won’t be a sponsor, but word is it will be a celeb-infested soiree. Sam Ronson won’t be working the gig — the two pals wanna be able to spend some precious time together. And don’t think about crashing the celebration — sources tell us that security is so tight, everyone entering the party must be cleared by La Lohan herself.

This creepy guy is helping make Maria Menounos’ 30th birthday a memorable one.  By supplying her with “the creepy guy in all the pictures”, she’s got a story to tell her grandkids.  That’s why I think she should invite me to her next party.  Nto only am I willing to be “that guy”, I’m willing to be the one that plows her at the end of the night.  Two guys for the price of one!  What a bargain!

The word is that birthday (today) girl Angelina Jolie is close to giving birth, even though her due date is supposedly in August, she will reportedly not go to full term with the twins. Reports are that she is on bed-rest and hoping to birth naturally to her twin girls. Angelina had to undergo a Cesarean section for Shiloh so the odds seem against her. According to OK! Magazine the actress and her partner Brad Pitt are taking every pre-caution to ensure a safe delivery, reserving a private birthing room at Le Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace in Monaco, and hiring a midwife and two French nurses who are currently staying with her at Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s compound in St.-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Angelina has also made the cover of Star Magazine and of course they have a much more dramatic spin to her pregnancy.  Although, Angelina was sitting down and is getting an assist from Brad in standing up in the cover picture they used, Star is playing it up as part of their medical crisis story. A source told Star that Angie did collapse in her French home. The source said, “She felt lightheaded, and her knees buckled. Brad grabbed her and told her to ‘hold on, hold on’ until her doctor got to her.”

The gorgeous Angelina Jolie celebrates her birthday today! The very soon to be mom-of-six is turning 33. Angelina was born to Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand, and started her acting career at the young age of 7 in Voight’s 1982 film Looking to Get Out . And later went on to model. Jolie won an Academy Award in 1999 for Best Supporting Actress as a sexy but crazy patient in Girl Interrupted. This fall Angelina will be seen in The Changeling, which is already generating Oscar buzz. Angelina’s ex’s include Johnny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton, but met current beau Brad Pitt in 2005 during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The couple wasted no time in adopting children Maddox, Zahara, and Pax, as well as having their biological daughter, Shiloh. The beautiful birthday girl is currently expecting twins, due very soon.
